![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Had trouble removing some batteries in Lone Echo, which may be an error in the game. I like just to be there - I don't miss the action, and of course having completed the game once I know the story and what to expect - thus the drive to know the story isn't there on my 2nd play-through and makes it easier to focus on the potentially more tedious optional missions.Īlso never did the optional comsats D4 and F7 assignments during my first play-through (you don't get these assignments before visiting the comsats, so many may not know these exists) - but now I do all optional missions o:) Maybe it does not feel like a different game, but doing all the optional missions certainly adds a lot more depth to the game - and now Lone Echo may take just as long as Alyx to finishītw, physics aren't perfect in Lone Echo, sometimes may be just as frustrating as Boneworks. The advantage is that you really get a large dose of spacewalking - or just floating in space - and that means tons of immersion in an awesomely different reality. This is a strikingly difference to Alyx, because there's no action and the puzzles aren't necessarily very stimulating and might feel incredibly cumbersome. The Broader Mining Operations cube-sats have been the hardest, because these cube-sats could literally be anywhere - and aren't necessarily close to named locations.įinding the cube-sats might not at all be for everyone - you'll have to use lots of time to make very little progress. So far I've gotten 35/40 of the cube-sats. ![]()
